The Roanoke Greek Festival is one of my favorite festivals in the fall. It does not have tons of things going on but what it has is done well. It is the authentic Greek culture with music, food, and a market located at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Roanoke city. The food is the best! My favorites are the Spanakopita and Greek frothy iced coffee. The Spanakopita is spinach and cheese in buttery crip phyllo dough.
